Starry Night

a moderately abstract landscape painting

1889

The painting is of a starry night sky and below it is a town and some type of hill
Blue, white, yellow, black, brown, red, and green
Analysis:
The sky has shining stars a bright moon lighting up the whole town and everything. The clouds are mixed swirls and below it is a small town with very few lights on and the towns surrounded by a forest and rising above it all is a hummuses mountain or tree.
   Interpretation:
Its like van Gogh is saying something like no matter how dark everything is their will be something eliminating on all that is wrong and you can find the most beauty in the darkest of places.
Judgment:
The way his art style made the whole thing not look messy but special and the way all the colors are brought together without it being messed up in any way.
